Minerva Update

After a long, long, long time, I have finally gotten my computer back and it seems to be running fine. Right now it is downloading some 5000+ emails that have accumulated over the month or so I've been gone.

I've been able to look occasionally at everyone's progress but not comment often. Everyone is coming along so wonderfully! I haven't gotten anywhere near the progress that I was hoping for. But any progress is better than none. I was hoping to at least have the first page done. Alas, it was not to be. I have about half of that page done. LOL

Before:

After:

I started out working across, but I decided to start working down. I was going to tent stitch it, but I like the coverage of the full cross for this piece. That said, I do use the tent stitch for the base of my 1x1 stitching. It gives me something to run my needle through on the back.

Back:

I have used a blue washable pen to grid my fabric. I am not concerned about it coming out of the fabric or not, since the entire fabric will be covered with stitching.
