Bubble Telescope

Here's a picture of nearly 3K stitches of Ciro Marchetti's "Bubble Telescope."

I'll be stitching the top 300 stitches across the entire piece so I don't burn myself out on light blue. Not to mention that I can't wait to see the gammit of color across the top of the piece. In case you're interested, here is what the entire piece looks like.

I finally got the fabric I ordered for my new start - "Fragile" and I am anxiously off to start it!

Serenity Fairy

Hi, everyone! Here is my Serenity Fairy from last week's Thursday SAL. Between my girls' school events and the Maryland Sheep & Wool festival this past weekend, I've been slack in posting. But, here she is! I can't help but hum the theme to "Firefly" when I stitch on Serenity.

You can see Michele and Bob's original here.

Have a great week, everyone!

Decisions, Decisions...

Hello, everyone! It's been wonderful seeing all of your lovely WIPs! My name is Sue and I live in northern VA (which is more of a part of the DC/Baltimore area than the rest of VA). I'm a mother of twin elementary school-aged girls and have been stitching for more than 20 years. I did take a few years off from stitching when my girls were first born, but when they were about 18 months old, my husband told me that I had to start stitching again before I lost my mind and I've been an avid stitcher ever since.

I have several HAEDs in progress and will post progress pictures soon. Right now, though, I'm trying to make a decision for a big start that all of you will be a
huge help with (I hope!) and inspiration for! Until now, I've admired Kinuko Y Craft and Jo Wall charts from afar. I have one chart from each artist that I want to do, but I'm only going to start one... but which one??

12 Dancing Princesses or Spirit of Flight?

I love the colors of Spirit of Flight and the glitter and magic of 12 Dancing Princesses!

Please help me decide!
