Wow I haven't been on here for a while...a lot of personal stuff has been going on and so stitching and the computer were way down my list of priorities! I'm glad to say I'm back now though and with my latest update of Steve Roberts - Dragon Riders.
This is pages 11 and 12...

I'm stitching out of sequence so here is a pic of the whole thing so you can see it properly :) I've already made a start on what is actually page 9 and will be back with another update ASAP :)

Such fabulous work for me to catch up with ladies...there's a wide range of charts being stitched which is brilliant as we get to see so many of these wonderful designs coming to life but it also means there is more to add to my wishlist lol. Dragon Riders

WOW I can't believe I won Jan's Giveaway, thank you so much Marie :) I have asked for Train Of Dreams. I don't know when I'll get around to starting it, probably sooner rather than later lol.
Here is my progress on DR.....this is my before pic...


After pic...the flash caused whiteout again but the pic's without were blurry!

Maxine's Dragon Rider's

Well I hate to say it but this month I haven't done a great deal of HAED stitching! I have tried but the course of antibiotics I had before Christmas have messed with my stomach so I have been back and forth to the doctor's and am now almost finished my third course of antibiotics!
I am finally starting to feel better so here is the start of page 8.....
It looks a bit washed out and with loads of white showing through but that's just because of the flash it really doesn't look that bad.

I have to also show you my DD Jennifer's new start her third HAED!!!! This one is Sarah Butcher's ACEO Leo ...Jennifer's stitching it for her sister's birthday in August and has already put quite a lot of work in.

You can just see across the top of this next pic she has stitched all what was missing on the

pic above and has started working on the hair and face now.

I hope to get a lot more HAED stitching in next month and have another page finished (we can dream can't we lol). I have to say looking at all the wonderful work on this blog really does make you want to sit and stitch doesn't it? Great work ladies as always :)

Dragon Riders Puppy Love Fae

My DD Jennifer has another HAED finish.....Nadia Tate's QS Puppy Love Fae :)

She took about 8 months to finish it bit some months she hardly stitched at all. I've took the photo's for her so she's all ready to sort out the HAED Reward scheme and has her next one chosen :)
Here's another finish but on a smaller scale lol.....I finally finished the last two pages across the top of Dragon Riders :)

I'm putting it away just until the holidays are finished because I'm working on an older non HAED WIP (see my blog for pic's of this) Then I'll sort out a rotation to include Dragon Riders and any new starts I may have in the New Year.

Hello everyone long time no see :) I finally got back to some HAED stitching after a stressful few weeks. Out came Dragon Riders, here's my before pic just to remind you all where I had got to....
Here's where it as of lunch time today...this pic is more true to the colours than the one above.

I am staying with this for a couple more days at least so hopefully more progress to show next week...was going to say this page may get finished but then I always jinx myself lol.

Here's DD Jennifer's HAED Puppy Love Fae....

She has got all the way across the top and is now coming down the right hand side. When she has finished this page I'll take a full pic so you can see it in all it's glory :)

I'm a bit late with my SAL update but I had a bit of a headache coming on and knew if I went on the computer it would only get worse so had to leave it! I did quite a bit of stitching for the SAL but don't feel like there's much progress to show for it...... here's the before pic...

Well I've kept to stitching on this one since last weeks SAL and I have another page finished :) Here's my before pic

and here's my after pic which will be my before pic for tonight.My DD Jennifer is also in for the SAL....she had started a full size chart but there was too much white and with her stitching on white she was finding it very difficult so she has opted for another QS Nadia Tate's Puppy Love Fae...this is what it will look like...and here's her start which is also her before pic for the SAL...Thanks for looking and commenting. A Finish

I am pleased to say my DD Jennifer has finished her very first HAED woohooo:) She finally finished it yesterday and can't stop looking at it. She has yet to choose a chart from the reward scheme but she's already sorted out hext HAED wip! So without further ado here's her finish...

The stats are...QS Moonlight. Artwork by Caron Vinson. Stitched on 16ct (I think) aida with two strands of thread full crosses.

Now for my teeny tiny update....I've stuck with Dragon Riders and started on page 7 ...it's got a lot of block stitches so thought ti would stitch up pretty quickly which it is doing :) I'll be carrying on with this tomorrow for the SAL :)

Hello again...I'm surprising myself with how quick I'm getting through my chart and putting up another progress pic ...it's all thanks to you lovely people on here I'm sure :) I have now finished page 3...

I love looking at all the amazing wip's we have on here...they really inspire me to carry on stitching on all my HAED's. I've been stitching on Dragon Rider's as much as possible but also having to cope with very strong pain meds which are making me sleepy (once I've had a little cat nap I'm ok again) So here is a pic of my progress so far...

Here's a pic of what it was like...My daughter Jennifer has been stitching away like crazy on her HAED and was really chuffed with the lovely comments you all left on her last progress pic :) This afternoon she finished page 2 of her QS and only has 2 short pages left till it is finished so here's her progress pic...This will be her first HAED finish and she can't wait lol. Maxine's Dragon Riders Update

Hi everyone :) I haven't been able to get on here as often as I would of liked because my OH's laptop has gone to be fixed so he's using 'my' computer and I just can't get on lol. The good thing with this is at least I can stitch a bit more so I have been stitching on Dragon Riders....I've got down to the half page on page 3 now and will be joining in with the SAL tomorrow where I'm hoping to get quite a bit done as we don't have to go anywhere . Here's my latest pic I've also included a pic of my DD Jennifer's stitching after Cindy saw it on my blog and said I should put it on here (thanks Cindy). She started Caron Vinson's QS Moonlight last year and didn't do too much on it what with college and everything but this year she has really got on with it....it won't be long before she has finished! Here's what the finished pic looks like..

Maxine's Update

I didn't stitch much at all last week (again!!) I don't know why because I really want to stitch but when I get sat down I just can't be bothered! I did stitch on Thursday for the HAED SAL and for a change (thought it might make me stitch a bit more) I gor Dragon Riders out. I stitched for what seemed like quite a while but it soesn't look like I got that much done. It's by Steve Roberts and this is what it wil look like when it's done....

All I managed to get done was the start of page 3. I think I might stick with this this week and try to get at least half a page done. Thanks for reading and leaving your comments :)
