I haven't had much progress on any of my HAED's lately. But I thought I would share where I am on a couple of my pieces. I noticed that I haven't posted these updates yet.
My Curl Up With A Good Book from the 2011 BBSAL:
I sent my Wizard of Oz out for an UFO Round Robin, and some really great progress was made!
Page one was finished and pages 2 and 8 got some good progress made on them. :)
Thanks for looking! I am hoping to get some time in on Curl Up soon.

Anojaa- blue bird/ wizard of oz UPDATE
Hi everyone!
First of all, thanks for your warm welcome. It's great to be here! And thanks again to Laura for being my buddy.
A little update on my dear Blue bird. It starts to show a little bit now. I'm so happy that I want to share it with you.
it's a real feast of colors! I love it. Stitched on 28 ct, one over one, full crosses.
And this is my new start, The wizard of oz. i've started from the bottom right. i wanted to see that part, as other ladies are doing wonderful work on the left side. I've tried tent stitching for this one.
so there it is after day one
Stitched on 28 ct, two over one, tent.
Happy stitching!
Thanks a lot, have a nice week

Joanne's Wizard of Oz Update

I haven't stitched much over the past couple of months, although I enjoy stitching this design I lost my 'stitchy bug' and I'm only just getting it back. My laptop has also been in for repair and I couldn't contact Caroline. I've also been studying hard for an exam in June and the coursework has now been handed in so lots more stitching time available. I've stitched over the past day or so on the blue area on the right.
Thank you.

Joanne's Wizard of Oz Update
I've just had 2 weeks off work and I moved house 3 weeks ago so stitching was hopefully going to fill my holiday. It didn't quite work out that way and I only managed to get about 3 days stitching. I feel as though I've made quite a bit of progress from my last photo, I've really enjoyed working on it and I should be able to get the page finished by next month (finger's crossed!).

Posting from Joanne
No photograph of the Wizard this month, I am moving house in 2 days and it has been put away for the move I will (when I find it again!) get some stitching done over the Christmas holiday if I ever manage to unpack all the boxes.
Thank you.

Guest Post - Joanne's Wizard of Oz
***********************************
Hi I'm Joanne from England and my blog buddy is Caroline (thanks for posting for me Caroline), I'm married and have 3 girls age 15, 13 and 9. I've been a cross stitcher for over 16 years but only discovered HAED earlier this year. I'm stitching the Wizard of Oz and probably have a strange stitching style for a HAED but it works for me. I started it about 3 weeks ago and it's 1x1 on 25ct evenweave. I gridded the fabric with nylon fishing line. I have my own blog which is http://joanne-craftybitsnbobs.blogspot.com/

First photo of my restart: Wizard of Oz
Furthermore I read all your progresses with great interest. I really like to see what everybody is doing and it's giving me a lot of inspiration. Keep on the good work, I like us blogging and stitching together!

Introduction From Rachel
Hi everyone! First, I want to thank you for the invitation to join this blog. This is the only other blog besides my own personal blog that I have participated in.
A little bit about me: I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary with my husband. I have a 9 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I have been stitching for almost 20 years! I taught myself when I was 10 years old. That was a disaster. Who knew you actually had to separate the 6 strands of DMC?!?! I have since learned a lot, and have quite a few finishes hanging on my walls.
I have been stitching HAED for a few years now, but haven't had a finish yet! I have 3 WIPs though, and I wanted to share my progress so far with all of you.
This first one is the first one I ever started. This is Wizard of Oz (Gustafson), stitched 2 x 1 on 18ct Aida. This is about 1/2 of page one. The only deterrent I have with this one is the amount of thread changes!
This next one is Gossamer Fairy StoryKeep. I just started this one a few months ago, but have not stitched on it in awhile. Stitched 1 x 1 on 28ct Lugana.
And the last one I have started so far is the QS SAL, Fiona. Stitched 1 x 1 on 28ct Lugana. I am really enjoying this one, but have slowed my stitching because of school.
I am looking forward to chatting with everyone, and seeing everyone's progress!
