Wendy's progress on Land of Enchantment

Hi my stitching friends,

It's been a while but I finally can show you a progress on my "Land of Enchantment". I did enjoy stitching again on this project, but I'm planning to start a 2nd HAED as well. You guys did encourage me to do it and I love the theory of Marie that "we have to enjoy the journey instead of the destination". Thanks Marie for this lovely comment, because I really love this saying :)

My 2nd start will be "Santa Claus at the North Pole", because it is now Holiday season I really would love to stitch something with Santa on it :) I'll show my new start :)

Hi my stitching friends,

Finally I did have some time to do some stitching the last 2 days. I have been stitching on "Land of Enchantment". It is not a very big progress, but it is something :)

Hi my friends,

It has been a while since I showed my progress, but here is my update. I have been stitching on Thursday as well. I don't have a before picture now.

As you can see, there is some more of the palace now. I still enjoy stitching it.



I haven't been commenting a lot last week, but this is because I just got back from vacation, and then there is a lot of work to do at home too. But I'll try to catch up.

Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful progresses! It is so nice to watch all of your designs. Since it is summer vacation now, it is much relaxing and I was able to do a lot of stitching. Another week has gone. Time goes so fast. Our kids have their big summer vacation. So for us it is a little more relaxing now. I did find some more time to stitch again. I have to admit that I was getting a little bored on my HAED. But I picked it up again and I'm full of energy to stitch on it. I love to see the progress on this one too, just like all of your progresses.

Hi my friends,

I'm finally able to post my progress too this week. It has been very busy for us the latest weeks, lots of new products came into our store and we had an open house last week. But our kids have almost their big schoolvacation (still 1,5 day school). Their vacation start here on the 1st of July and this for 2 months. I hope it won't be that stressy anymore and I will be able to do a lot of creative things.

In the meantime I kept watching all of your wonderful progresses and I love them all. But I didn't have the time to comment on them. You guys are doing a wonderful job.

Hi my friends,

Thanks for sharing all your wonderful progresses. I enjoy watching it.
It stays very busy for me lately and I'm really up to some vacation :) Our oldest son Thibo became 9 years old on Wednesday. So he had a birthdayparty with some friends of school. Sunday we will have our family birthdayparty.
Also next Saturday we will have an open house in our store, so this means some work too, to prepare some things. Also we have translated our webshop in English and will be shipping to everywhere. If you would like to see our store you can take a look at In2hobby

I only did about a 600 stitches on my HAED. This is not that much, but it is something :) Now you can see something more about the palace.
The picture isn't really good, it is difficult to take a better picture. Because in real this looks much better.

Hi my friends,

I've had a very busy week last week. But I keep watching your progress and I love them all. You guys are doing such a wonderful job. It is so much fun to see eachothers designs grow.

I did some stitching on my HAED, but not that much as I'm used to. So here is my update for last week SAL. Now you can see a little more of the palace. The picture is not really what it should be.

I really hope I will be able to do some more stitching next week. But I started two other projects last week too. This is not my habit, but for the moment I have 7 WIP's and I hope they won't become UFO's.

Hi my friends,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes and anniversary wishes I got. I was very happy with it and it means a lot to me. You guys made my heart smile.

We had a nice weekend. I received some nice presents. I got 2 patterns from HAED, a Dimensions kit Santa's ornaments and a DVD box from the series "CHIPS". I used to watch this when I was a kid. Now our kids loves to watch it too :) On Monday (it was a holiday here in Belgium) we went for a brunch. I love to eat that.



Last week we had a nice and sunny weather, so I was able to sit outside and do a lot of stitching. I worked on my other progresses too but I also did a lot of stitching on my HAED. So here is my update.

Hi my friends,

Another week has passed and I was able to do a lot of stitching on my Land of Enchantment. I enjoy it so much that I didn't even stitch on my other WIP's.
So here is my update on my HAED. I did about 2400 stitches last week.

I really enjoy so much seeing your progresses that I want to stitch some more HAED. You guys are doing such a wonderful job.
Next week on Saturday it is my birthday, so I ordered 2 new patterns. I don't know if I will be able to wait before I will start one of them.
I ordered 2 patterns from Scott Gustafson which are "Pegasus and the Muses" and Santa Claus at the North pole". I'm all excited to receive them.

Hi dear friends,

I enjoyed watching all of your wonderful progresses, it is so nice to see all those lovely designs growing. It is so fun to stitch a HAED and I think I'm even addicted to stitch mine. I didn't do much on my other WIP's last week. As you will see on the picture I started a 2nd page too and now I will switch between those 2 pages. I even can't wait to see my design grow, so I was thinking if I start another page I will be seeing it growing much faster ;)

Hi Everybody,

It has been a while, but I have had a very busy week last week. It was my youngest son's Birthday last week. He became 6 years old. So he had 2 birthday party's. We did get a lot of new stuff in our store, so lots of work to do with pricing etc.....

But I was able to do some stitching. I finished my 2nd page and already started my 3th page. It is so much fun to do. But I did some stitching on my other WIP's too.

I just enjoyed watching all of your wonderful progresses. Ooh boy, I think my life will be too short to stitch what I would love to stitch. When I see all those wonderful design I want to stitch more and more. I'm really addicted to my HAED, but I stitched a little on my other WIP too. So here is my progress of this week. You can see a little already of the palace at the bottom. I'm almost finished with my 2nd page. Can't wait to start another page.

Hi my dear friends,

I just enjoyed watching all of your wonderful progresses. This is such a wonderful community here and I enjoy all of your wonderful friendship. Keep up the good work. I have been stitching all week on my HAED, I mostly stitch every evening. I did forget all about my other WIP's last week. Today is a rainy day here, so I'm planning to enjoy a relaxing day and do a lot of stitching on my HAED.

My First Post

Well this is my first post on this blog, thanks to Cindy and Wendy for setting it up. Isn't it great to see so many wonderful designs?

I have currently four HAED wips, two which I have worked on recently, and two, not so recently but I refuse to call them UFO's as I fully intend to finish them one day.

The two that I am working on at the moment are Faery Tales and Land of Enchantment. I don't
have any wip pictures of Land of Enchantment, but I can share a couple of Faery Tales.














I am enjoying working on this so much that nothing else is getting much attention. When I ordered this I got the large size graph, and it has 60 pages. So far I have completed 9.

The two designs that haven't been stitched on for some time are:

Bubbles, and



















Gypsy Rose.




















Seeing their finished pictures makes me want to get them out to stitch on them, not entirely a bad thing!!!

Anyway, must go and read some blogs, I do read this one when ever it comes up on my bloglines, which is often with how many posts get put on it, and I just love seeing all the wonderful progress that everyone is making, keep it up ladies, we will all have finishes one day.
