Sifter framed

Well here it is, the framed Sifter. I think the frame is pretty dark matching. That was quite a challenge to find because all blacks do not really fit this works. This is dull, dented, with a red haze over the higher parts.

The Sifter Finished

I've got The Sifter finished. I'm going next week to the framer. And let him frame it. Then I let you see how it has become. Now I go further with the madonna. This year I would like to finish this. It is another wonderfull feeling to have finish a HEAD. On to the next.

Sifter.. 5640 to go

Well I just finished a row of 10.680 stitches. It was BORING !!!!! 3799, 310 and 500.... can you imagen it ..... please I almost lost my mind.. I can not find the curage to go on. It are 5640 stitches before a finish of this project......... I think I need a vacation... And we are going to France To Dunkerque and Amiens, to snif a lot of history of the region. At first we want to go on the Bike ( as I am a bikergirl) but I think it is a lillte bit to cold for this yet.

The Sifter (80% done)

The tail of the The Sifter is almost completely finished. A lot of black and green (500) I've had many treads DMC into this. Three half boring pages to go and then it is finished. I'm just busy with more cheerful stuf. I would like to start the Medusa of L.A Williams or The Rose of JC Christensen. But even this one first finishing because I really do not like half work.

The Sifter

Finally firmly worked at the Sifter. I have done much. But I must say that of course is much the same color. So that is many times faster than confettie stittching.

Yesterday our youngest son moved. All day on the job. Everyone went home very tired. And now I have muscle pain all over. It is very strange to be in his empty room. But it will get used. I'm redecorating this room. Red wallpaper I is not pretty. And then I can stitch, sew, watch TV and internet in this room.

The Sifter

Well friends, I was very sick of the loss of our friend. But slowly I am coming to my senses again.

The pain in my hart is still there but I can do something again.

So the Sifter is half ready and is going into the box till after newyear. I am working at the Madonna (Christensen) till Newyear.

I looked with a half eye to everybodys updates. Some of them are Gorgeous.... Good work on you....... I hope I can pick up my brains to give next week respons again to everybodys work.

Sifter

The last few weeks were very sad. Our Great Dane Falco is deceased. He was 8 years. For a Great Dane already a nice age. He got far too much pain to have to live normally. We have with much pain in our hearts let him go. The sorrow is great. I assisted him in his recent days sit by his basket to stitch. He was quiet by that much attention. I've done so much. The house is empty and quiet. We are much away from home. But that makes it difficult to come home again. I hope soon a cheerful piece to stitch.
Everyone has done a lot. And thanks for all the messages on my blog. With many tears I have read them. Thank you all.

Sifter

After two weeks of heavy stitching I made great progress with the Sifter. I am so in a black mood...... I cant help it. I think it is the time of the year........I am looking every day at this blog at the progresses of everybody. You are all a fantastic bunch of people who enjoy the stitching as much as I do.... And the Buddy members work are a joy to look at also.

I have together with my dil, a new chart choice.... a christmas stokking...... help!!!!! so much colors !!!!! I feel almost happy (lol) everybody have fun with the stitching !!!!!
