SK Rapunzel ~ progress

A quick post to share with you my progress on SK Rapunzel. I know I've not made a lot of progress on it since my las post but that's because I've only stitched on it approximately four more hours. My photo is horrible but you have to trust me that detail looks amazing IRL

SK Rapunzel ~ new start

One June 16th, I started stitching SK Rapunzel, two weeks have passed and this is my progress so far. There is a lot of "confetti" stitches in this part of the design but I'm enjoying working on it. This is the first time I'm stitching a HAED design two over two (I'm doing it on 36ct Edinburgh linen) so far I'm happy with the way it looks :)

SK Dragon Luck ~ finished!

On Monday I finished this cute little dragon. I love this cute little dragon :) It's is stitched on 25ct Baby Blue lugana (one over one) full crosses. It's going to be a gift for a little boy so now I'm going to iron it and frame it :)

SK Dragon Luck

I'm working on page 2 of SK Dragon Luck (Last years HAED's bb SAL). On February of last year I had finished page 1 and finally at the begining of April I decided it was time to finish this project. I'm hoping to finish it this month :)

Shh Now ~ progress

Finished another page on Shh Now. This time I worked on her arm, this page is mostly done with DMC3865.

After almost a year of not stitching on this project. I've decided to pick up again Shh Now by Zindy Nielsen. This is how I left it on February of 2010, my goalis to finish at least 2 pages before I pass on to another project.

Today was the last day of this month's freebie SAL in HAED's bb. And this is my progress on Dragon Luck. All the blank spaces you see are the threads I don't have and need to buy to finish this page.

A finish and a new start

Happy New Year everyone!!

I finished 2009 with a HAED finish and started the 2010 with a new project: SK Dragon Luck. Last year was my first year stitching HAE designs and I managed to finish two quick stitches in my first year, not bad at all, right!

Here's QS Dark Cherry that was stitched on 25ct Antique White Jobelan, 1x1 full stitches. I used HDF B5200 silk thread instead of the Kreinik and my total stitching time was aprox. 235 hours.

And this is my progress on SK Dragon Luck, my new year start :)

Faces of Faery 09 ~ progress

Last week I joined the themed SAL in HAEDs bb (this month the theme was faces) and managed to finish the face :)

Dark Cherry ~ progress

Here's my progress on QS Dark Cherry after this month's SAL. Finally finished page 3!

This past weekend was the freebie SAL in HAED's bb, so I stitched on Dark Cherry. I worked on page 3 and wanted to finished it during this SAL but there's a lot of confetti stitches in this page! I thought I had not made good progress, but if I compare the before and after SAL pics I think I didn't do that bad!

Faces of Faery 09 ~ progress

This week I've been working on Faces of Faery 09(art by JBG) and here's my progress so far.
Page 1 is done and I'm now working on page 4.

Dark Cherry ~ progress

Like every second weekend of the month, during HAED's freebie SAL, I stitched on QS Dark Cherry and made great progress on it, I'm half way thru page 3 :)

Faces of Faery 09 ~ new start

Last week during the fourth week themed SAL in HAED bb, I started a new project: Faces of Faery 09 (art by Jasmine Becket-Griffith). I'm stitching it on 25ct Jobelan, 1 over 1- full crosses.
This design has a lot of blocks of colors so in a week I'm almost done with page 1 :)

Dark Cherry ~ progress

During HAED's freebie SAL I picked up again Dark Cherry and made some progress on it. I was lazy and did not stitch as much as I'd have liked but still managed to finish page 2.

I'm stitching this on 25ct Antique White Jobelan, 1x1 full crosses

QS Dark Cherry ~ progress

On the weekend I stitch on QS Dark Cherry and I think I made great progress on this piece. I wanted to finish page 2 but that didn't happen; still I'm very pleased with my progress. I'm 41,6% done with this piece. Here's a before and after picture...

QS Tag Alongs ~ finished!!

This week I finished my first HAED!!! It's stitched on 25ct Antique White Jobelan one over one ~ full crosses. I used HDF B5200 silk thread instead of the Kreinik that was charted.It took me a little over 4 month to finish it :)
