St Nick in His Study

Hi everyone,
I've been away for awhile and just got finished drooling over the stunning HAED pics you have all posted on this blog. Simply beautiful!  I've managed to get quite a bit done on St. Nick (yay) since the last time I posted. Love him!  :)

Cindy's St. Nick Update

The 900+ stitches I've added since my last post are hard to tell what it really is, but I think next post we'll see the quill pen and book better.

Funny story, this week someone hacked into my husband's Facebook and Yahoo accounts, changed all his passwords and wrote several of our family and friends telling them we were in London, had been robbed at gunpoint and we were asking for 1000 pounds to be wired to a London address. Husband was in transit from work trip and I was getting lots of phone calls to see if we were ok!! So, I had to shut down my FB because mine is connected to husbands and we were afraid it could get worse! I miss my games...lol!! This had nothing to do with our own home computer protection, the hacker hacked into Facebook and from there accessed his email. We had 2 friends who were actually about to have money wired because they didn't know this was a scam....so be careful:) We were, didn't help...but, we're rethinking things.

I'm sorry I haven't been very active on this blog lately. Not going to whine...just believe me, I'm trying to get back to my happy place:) Everyone's beautiful work is what keeps me stitching!!
You guys are unbelievably talented!!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks so much for being apart of it:)

St. Nick Update

I HAVE been stitching! This pic is terrible and looks like I have a lot of fabric showing through....it doesn't look this bad in person...lol....(ok, maybe I want to believe it doesn't) I took the pic under a very bright light and set the camera to macro.....maybe I should take it from 10 ft. back;) Wonder how many years it will take me to catch up with Diane?? Hers is gorgeous!!!

Hope you all have a fabulous week!

Meanwhile, back in the Garden...

I'm so tickled that I found this blog because it gave me the nudge I needed to pull a couple of my HAED BAPs out of hibernation and give them some love. So without further ado, A Peacock and Doves in a Garden.

In the second pic you can see where I blew up the chart photo so you can see how it will look in 2020 when I finish. lol

I've also dusted off St Nick in His Study, but Santa will have to wait a little bit while I spend this week in the Garden. Ok, back to the point of a SAL... actually stitching! :)
