Catching up!

I've just realised that I haven't posted here for ages, and that I also haven't commented here for ages (most remiss of me, I do apologise)!
Everyone's stitching is looking beautiful, there are lots of projects progressing beautifully (and generally a lot faster than mine as well)!

Here are my latest updates. All the black done on Ms Clara by Hannah Lynn, and the beginning of the black on Heather (full sized) also by Hannah Lynn... can you tell that I like 'drawing' them!

Happy stitching all, and hope that those who are joining in have a good International hermit and Stitch Weekend!

For my son Issac

I have not had time for stitching in my life lately but I am making it a resolution to stitch at least one hour a week. I remember when I started this guy I was stitching upwards of 400 stitches a night provided my needles were loaded and I had a nice long audio book playing. I would love to say I will see that kind of stitching time again, but now that I work full time I don't see it happening.

HAED's SK Dragons History - Finished 16th January 2013 by Gizzimomo

Hello Everyone,

I've got a new finish to show you! It's my 19th HAED finish and it's SK Dragon History by Randal Spangler.

He stitched up really quickly (just a month for four pages) and is such a handsome little chap that I just had to share. I did 'bling it up' a little bit as I felt the lettering wasn't as clear as it could be so I backstitched over it with a dark red metallic thread to make it clearer but unfortunately the photo had come out a bit dark and doesn't do the piece any justice. There are some clearer pictures available to view on my blog (http://gizzimomosstitchyplace.blogspot.co.uk/).

HAED's SK Dragons History by Randal Spangler
Stitch on 25 count Sky Blue evenweave
1 thread over 1 square, 1 thread for metallic backstitching
Started on 17th December 2012
Finished on 16th January 2013
Total Stitch Time - 30 days

I hope you all love him as much as I do!

Avarice Page 16 complete

POSTED BY NICOLA BERRY

Took a little longer to do this page, not because it was particularly difficult, but because of the Christmas festivities and I temporarily lost my stitchy bug!

Anyway here is a pic,.

Stitched one over one full crosses on 25ct Lugana
