Good New and Bad News

The good news first. HAED has the greatest customer service ever. I emailed Michele stating that I though Contemplating the System had too much black, especially on the side with the tree. Well, they fixed it and emailed me the corrected chart.

Now the bad news. I have to start over! Luckily I've only done page 1 and about a third of page 2. Sigh.

This could be a good thing though. I've been thinking that the white fabric is too bright, so, I'm going to check my stash for a darker color. As Eric Idle says "always look on the bright side of life"!

LOL I LOVE it!! When facing adversity or frustration, one can always always find a quote from Monty Python that will see you through!

Gosh...that's a pity isn't it. But you are right to look at the bright side. That's how I try to look at life too. Good luck in finding the right fabric and then I hope you'll get soon back to where you were.

Oh well, at least you'll probably be happier stitching on it now!

Hello Jan !
If you had doubts about the colors and if you didn't like to stitch it anymore because of the black, you had a very good idea to e-mail HAED about it. You are so lucky to have an answer and a fixed chart ! We can be so happy to have the possibility to talk with HAED ! It's so nice !

I know that starting over seems to be boring, but I'm really sure that you will enjoy it nevertheless, because now, it will more looks like you expected to.
So, keep going !! And it will be such a pleasure for me to see your new work ! I'm totally with you !

Happy stitching !

I'm sorry you have to start over but I bet you have a much better look to your finished piece now. Good for you for thinking to ask.

what a shame that you now need to restart, but you're right, if not all you want is to do better on
