A Wintery Heirloom update

I worked on AWH last night and was able to put in about 300 stitches. This tree is nothing but confetti stitches so it makes it a little hard to make much progress. I have about 1.6% finished on this project.....so I am LONG way from being finished!! I am so glad that I was able to explain the hanging threads method easily enough for everyone to understand. Please fill free to email me if you have any questions. I will be happy to help!!!

More pretty progress! Great job Vickie! Your hanging threads are art in themselves:)

Looking great!!

I, personally, cannot use that method. I'm a 'tidy' person and all those threads would drive me buggy! LOL But they are very pretty!!

Can't wait to see more wip pics!

Confetti stitches can drive one mad sometimes, isn't it?

My first week started that way also, but last week I got lots of "normal" stitches, which was also fun.

Really lovely and great colours!. Same here like Nancy, I can't have those hanging threads as I will get confused as to which colour is which. The most thread I have them hanging are 3 colours. I always admire stitchers who can do this. Looking forward to see the next update.

The confetti stitches sure slow you down but they are worth in in the end. Progress is Progress. Looks great.
