Wendy and I Have A Surprise! Please Read!!!

Beginning April 1st, Wendy and I will have monthly drawings for giveaways! ONLY MEMBERS WILL BE ELIGIBLE!!!

We will post each month showing (or telling) what the giveaway for that month will be 2 weeks before each drawing, so members will have time to enter their name for the items being given.

Since our 1st drawing is so special, I'm going ahead and posting it now! Michele, the CEO of Heaven and Earth Designs is so generously donating A CHART OF THE WINNER'S CHOICE ...AND.... a NEEDLE THREADER with the glass beads she is making herself!! How incredible is that??

Wendy and I are so excited and appreciative of Michele's generosity.

Here is some fun things you may or may not know about Michele and HAED she wrote to us about yesterday:

"I am a Jill of all trades and a Master of none! I have dabbled in jewelry for years and have actually learned a lot of my craft from Bob who used to own a jewelry store in St. Thomas Virgin Islands.

HAED started in 2001 and our first artist was Sheila Wolk and then it was Jessica Galbreth (whom is now a very dear friend) and then so on. I have 26 years experience in Information Technology and have always worked a day job until 2 weeks ago when I was laid off (I was an Executive Manager for Hormel Foods). My goal is to now run HAED full time with Bob by my side and to also grow the jewelry side of things to keep the mix interesting.

I am a Mom to 3 and a Grandmother to 2 and soon to be 3 and my Grandchildren are the loves of my life. Heaven and Earth is named after Bob and I and his zodiac is Earth and mine is Heaven (Air). We are soulmates and about as close as two can possibly get. He is my love, my life, my dreams and my wants but most of all he is my friend…..

Michele
CEO, Heaven and Earth Designs "

And many of you know she does all that charting!! WOW! I can't even imagine!

I will post these on the sidebar, but here are links to her stores and blog:

All you members have to do to be eligible, is to leave a comment on this post. On April 1st, Wendy and I will have the drawing and post it as quickly as possible. We will get your chart choice from you and send your info to Michele:) We wish you best of luck to you all!

Hugs!

Incredible what a response there is on this blog. Have you noticed that there are already 50 people in the group, halfway already just after 2 weeks. Unbelievable !!

And then to see that Michele from HAED herself is also supporting this, is great to see. I hope to read more about her, and wish her all the best with HAED becoming a fulltime job now. I'm sure that she will feel that it's a good choice, and am convinced that this will lead to lots of good things, both for her and all her fans loving to stitch her beautiful patterns.

Keep up the good work ... both Michele and of course also Cindy F and Wendy !!

What a nice surprise to come home to! It is wonderful to learn more about Michelle's artistic endeavors, and to have her endorsement for our group! And what a VERY thoughtful gesture to make all of us drool at the very thought of getting a new HAED pattern!

Despite my best intentions, I didn't get too much stitching done while we were in Rochester. The lighting was terrible in our motel room, beyond what even my little bitty light could handle, and at the clinic, we were on the go too much to settle in and stitch. However, I did spend all of my free time both on Thursday and Friday, winding my floss bobbins for my Iris! I've gotten more than half of my 99 different colors done now! You didn't think that I'd let Thursday go by without working on my project, did you?

Now that we're home though, I don't know how much I'll be able to post for a bit. Just after we got home, while I was bringing out bags in, lightning struck right outside our house. If I hadn't stopped to grab my trusty photo taking hat, now referred to as my lucky hat, I would have been outside, schluping across a patio with inches of water on it, with more pouring down on me, just yards from where that bolt hit! I saw the bolt flash across in front of me, and the ball of white light when it hit the pole! Yikes! Even though our computers were protected, a spike came through the phone line, and has messed up our computers good. It also short circuited my stove. .more stitching time! I can't cook!!, and blew out the timers we had on the lamps. It also blew out the light bulbs in the garage.
But, it could have been worse. So now, we figure out exactly what needs to be fixed, and take it from there. Hopefully, I'll be back here more frequently, very soon.

It is SO good to see that so many have joined, just in the few days that I was gone1 I'm limping along on my hubby's laptop, so I can't really enjoy seeing everyone's projects, but it will be fun to catch up, once I'm back on my computer again.

Until then, everyone have fun! I'll check back as often as I can!

Michele and Bob are such generous and wonderful people to deal with.

Since I found HAED I have made them the Focus of my stitching and I simply never tire of stitching them and it is so exciting seeing new patterns all the time.

This is so neat that they will give away a pattern.

Thank you so much for this drawing. I've always thought Bob is the one charting the designs. I started to get suspicious when it is Michele who reply to my mails sometimes for some background removals. Thank you for the history of HAED. I've alway wanted to know how they started.

And supported by the owners of HAED - how cool is that.
Bob was online the day I ordered my HAED and had a little trouble with the download. He was very helpful and even answered a couple of questions for me. I look forward to getting to know the two of them better.
