The time has come the Walrus said, to talk of many things...

Hello everyone! I have taken the time to view your work so far and I have enjoyed seeing each piece... a feast for the eyes!
Most of you already know me well as Pethairxstitcher on the HAED BB (Sonya), but for those of you who do not I will give you a brief intro before inundating you with my current wips. I am from Quebec Canada but Austrian by birth and have been stitching HAEDs since some time late 2005. Ok... enough of the boring stuff, lets get on with the show.

My current active wips are as follows:

May I have this Dance (S Fenech) 32ct Lugana (Burnt Papyrus from SMF) and is an experiment in combining full X with tent 1 over 1

Poppy Puss (M Petite) 32 Lugana (Opalescent Moonglow by PTP) tented 1 over 1 with HDF silk :

Rose (R Anderson) 32 ct Lugana (Snowdrop SMF) tented 1 over 1 :

Claire's Wings (Kinuko Y Craft) 28 ct Lugana (Pearl beige) tented 1 over 1

Heart of the World (R Sanderson) 28ct Lugana (Beige) tented 1 over 1 :

Sorceress with Familiar (J Christensen) 32 ct Lugana (Canadian summit - SMF) Tented 1 over 1

RagDoll Fairy (L Ravenscroft) 32ct Lugana (Snickerdoodle SMF) tented 1 over 1 :
and I just started QS Poppy Fairy this week (JBG) 32 ct Linen (Mermaid fin x-scapes SMF) tented 1 over 1:
There are more and you can see them all including my finished here : http://www.picturetrail.com/pethair-xstitcher

Happy stitching everyone!

Gosh - I'm breathless. I just spent my morning coffee drooling over your WIP's. And the other WIP's you have in your Picture Trail are just as beautiful as well.

Laura... lol, tent stitching is just one leg of the X, it looks much like \, very similar to tapestry but the back of the work looks different (it has the rail road track that one gets when doing Xs)...now did I confuse you more or is that clear as mud (giggle)
