Sunken Treasure Progress

I've spent pretty much the entire week working on Sunken Treasure. It must be all the inspiration from seeing the great work you ladies are posting. I've put in around 17 hours and 2000 stitches in since the first of March. The plan is to work on it through the weekend, hopefully fill in as much of the page as I can and then work on another project until next Thursday again.

After doing some experimenting, I've realized that gridding isn't something that will work for me and I can't work in blocks of 10x10. That will explain why I have so much scattered stitching.

Good job Melissa!! Awesome progress!
You know, what works for some, doesn't always work for others. I haven't tried gridding, but I want to. I have tried hanging the threads and that was a huge mess! But I sure do like seeing others do it:) Just have fun and stitch it the way you enjoy it! (Hey, I started in the middle...just the way I like to start...lol!!)

I stitch the same way you do!

Looks great, BTW!

Hi Melissa those are really pretty blues. I grid but I don't stitch in blocks of 10. I find with gridding it lets me wander across and down with the one colour instead of ending off continually.

Wow Melisse! What a great progress! It looks really great already! I don't work with the gridding also. But I'm stitching on 18 count aida.
