So happy !

Hello everybody !

My name is Marie, I’m 27 years old and I live in Alsace wich is in France.
I’m not very familiar with blogs and it’s the first time I join one of them if I’m accepted !). But I’m ready to learn because this one is THE ONE that I was waiting for ! I was always saying to my husband how glad I would be if I could share my passion for HAED with some other people who does stitch HAED too. And here is that blog which I discovered two days ago. What a godsend ! I share my discovery with someone else who stitch a lot, specially HAED. I hope that she will join the blog too, because believe me, she is amazing.

So now, let’s talk about the one I choose ! Choosing the one I wanted to stitch was the first real problem, because there is a lot of charts that I’m in love with ! The artists that I prefer are : James Christensen, Scott Gustafson (with his beautiful Sleeping Beauty for example), Ciro Marchetti and Kinuko Craft. But I also like all the others, but my hearts beats mostly for those one. (I hope that my english is understandable). So my choice is a artwork from Kinuko Craft : Winter Angel. In this picture, I like the peaceful atmosphere, the unreal and bluegreen sky, and the Angel in the middle. When I look at her, I can almost hear the melody she wants to send us, and I find it appeasing.

I begin to stitch it and I’m only at the beginning. Here is where I am ( sorry if the picture is not very good but I tried many times and this one is the better...)

I must say that everytime I stitch on my work, I have doubts like Is it good enough ? or Is it as pretty as it should be ? I don’t feel reassured, but the only way I found for it, is to go on with my stitch work. So I try to do my best and I slowly continue my work.

Well, I hope you will enjoy my message, and I hope everyone a nice week-end !

Hi marie what a beautiful design you picked to stitch and you have made a wonderful start. I love watching the picture emerge while you are stitching. When you sit up close to stitch it is hard to see the detail but then you push it away after stitching on it and wow it looks amazing. I and looking forward to seeing you progress on this beautiful piece.
