Sakura WIP 1

Hi everyone :)

Last week I started Sakura by Chin Chou Kuik:

















I decided to stitch her on 40 ct linen 1 over 2 and it has been a lot of fun to stitch so far! Here is a pic:

















I am loving the colours of this project and I was so excited when I saw the flower emerge :D

the colors remind me of a dogwood tree on a sunny day... or a cherry tree in blossom :)
