My Winter Angel

Hi, this is Marie !

Where should I begin ?

Words fail me to express my feelings about this blog. When I left my first post, I was already glad because I have shared what is so important for me. But when I checked my post later, I had the good surprise to see a number before "comments". So I opened the window, and while I was reading all the lovely comments of you all, there were tears in my eyes...
I think that I didn't believe enough in my work. And every sentence of every comment is like a stone which contribute to build the wall of my waith. So, at you all, Merci beaucoup.
Before I knew it exists, I really missed that blog. I'm astonished to discover how this blog represents for me such a sane emulation. Sharing, reading and admiring the work of each member is an enchantment. And it really keeps my motivation on.

Since my first update, I began to work on the sky and I'm just near the moon. And more than the sun, I love the moon. So I'm excited to continue this part. But before this, I wanted to work a little bit on the flowers. So I have completed two roses. When I was stitching the first one, I didn't see anything. But I tried to stay patient. And a few cross later, the rose appears to me as if by magic.

So it's time to show you my work of the week.

This is before :

And this is now :

Before I stop my message, I want to thank you again.
We are coming from all over the world, and nevertheless, we all speak the same language : the passion for HAED stitching.

Thank you all,
Happy stitching for the coming week !

Marie.

Hi Marie, same thoughts as Sjoukje. It was really nice to read what you've written and it really warms my heart. I can fully understand how you feel. The kind comments and encouragement from the stitchers here keep me going on constantly. The blog is going really fast but I always try to give a comment at least once a day.

This is a gorgeous chart. That is a lot done within a week. Colours are wonderful too.

What am I doing here? I should be off stitching now! ;0))

Yvonne (can't resist popping in here to see gorgeous wips and also the thoughts of stitchers)

So beautifully written Marie. I love pushing my stitching away after a session and where there seemed to be a jumble of colours close up it is transformed into a beautiful picture. I am going to really enjoy watching your stitching come to life.

I'm joining in with the others, responding to your beautiful narrative. You have such a wonderful way of expressing yourself, and I think that we all share in your feelings. Thank you for putting them into words!

Your stitching is lovely, and you've accomplished quite a lot this week! I hope that it was as enjoyable for you to stitch, as it is for me to be looking at it!!

Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

Marie,
wow... cannot wait to see the moon grow :) I love this about HAED, it is like something you love and watching your talents bring the picture to life. I look at your beautiful pick and anticipate with you all you will put into her! These peices are very large and I like the way you said the rose appeared as if by magic... the entire peice in turn will be magical!
Happy Stitching, nice to meet you!
Laura

Marie, you felt the same mystic as I did, when, working on my Call of the Raven, I discovered the first hand. And I stitched it myself, not knowing how it would feel to see there was growing something, out of nothing.
It was the first time I expierenced that feeling while stitching, and now, busy working on Vibrant vista, I can't wait to see a little miracle like that happen.
You have a great way of saying things too, I read the mystic in your words, thank you!
