Wizard of Oz

I started on 'The Wizard of Oz' again and I'm going to like it. In the beginning I didn't. The colours are darker than they are on the painting and it's a bit vague. But there's already something more to see. There's a little witch behind the tree and the tree already has his smile and partly his nose.
I chose to work with one thread on 18 count aida, and it causes a light covering. It's better than it looks on the picture, I must say, it looks very fragile. I don't like stitching with 2 threads on 18 count, it's too tight, that's why I chose this.

Wow! You've made a lot of progress on this pattern already! And stitching it the way you are, gives it a whole different "etheral" look to it, adding to the magical mystery of the piece.
