Greetings, all! My name is Ewa and I'm a stitcher from California. I
would like to thank Louanne for being my buddy and thus enabling me to
be a part of the SAL! Thanks so much, Louanne! I've been looking at
the blog for some time and I absolutely love watching everyone's
pictures progress. They're absolutely gorgeous.
Currently I'm working on two HAED pieces, though I plan on starting
two more shortly.
The first is 'Dark Queen' by Jessica Galbreth, stitched on 25 count
Lugana, 2 over 1, full cross. I started her back in 2009 but she has
never been a focus piece so I don't have much done on her. Currently
about halfway through page 2 - a total of 11,990 stitches done so far.
The second is 'College of Magical Knowledge" by James Christensen,
stitched on 25 count DMC Evenweave, 1 over 1, full cross. This one I
started in February of 2010, did about 100 stitches, and put it away
until just about three weeks ago when I really got going. I'd like to
give this one to my parents for Christmas, but not sure how realistic
that is since, apart from the sky, it's basically all confetti.
Currently I have one full page done.
Thanks for looking and happy stitching, everyone! I'm very glad to be
able to be a part of the SAL.
