Sifter

The last few weeks were very sad. Our Great Dane Falco is deceased. He was 8 years. For a Great Dane already a nice age. He got far too much pain to have to live normally. We have with much pain in our hearts let him go. The sorrow is great. I assisted him in his recent days sit by his basket to stitch. He was quiet by that much attention. I've done so much. The house is empty and quiet. We are much away from home. But that makes it difficult to come home again. I hope soon a cheerful piece to stitch.
Everyone has done a lot. And thanks for all the messages on my blog. With many tears I have read them. Thank you all.

Astrid... I know that I already told it, but believe me, I'm thinking of you each day since I saw the sad news on your blog.
All that I can say is : be sure that I'm with you. Be sure.

You have done a lot of progress on Sifter, and that makes me feel a little better, because I know that stitching brings hope and peace.

Hugs,

Marie.

Again, I am so sorry. After years of faithfulness to you, you showed Falco the greatest kindness of all. Despite the pain in your heart you did the most unselfish thing possible and let him go to be free of his pain. He will always be with you!

Sifter is amazing! So fascinating in a creepy way. If I didn't know anything about it, I wouldn't like it, but now it just keeps drawing me in.

Sending you huggs and sunshine from Texas,
Sabine

Sorry to hear about Falco. Our pets take up such a huge part of our lives they are bound to be missed.

Your stitching is wonderful. I'm not sure it's a design I could stitch but that's the beauty of cross stitch, there is something for everybody and I'm sure enjoying watching it grow.

(((Hugs)))

Astrid, I am so, so sorry to hear about your precious friend passing.
I know how your heart must be hurting. What a good mother you were to him. Sending you big hugs and hoping soon you will not cry, but only smile when you think of him.

Sifter is just amazing!! Beautiful work.
