Work in progress is (or will be!) Wizards Den 1 over 1 on 25 count. The picture is quite zoomed out. I hope that is ok. Will zoom further in next time.  It is my first HAED. I got it with Christmas money with the intention of making it my "2011 project". Well, I also recently got married, and clearly I underestimated the amount of time wedding planning would take up- you will be able to see how little time was left for stitching!

Wedding now done though and new husband us going overseas soon with the air force, so i will have a few weeks at least to be able to dedicate to my needle & thread. Further updates to follow (soon I hope!)

Here is an updated picture... I went for two threads with this since that's how I started.

But doing Treasures SAL on my 25 count evenweave with one thread, only 100 stitches so far but working on her this weekend

Think I have 10 more rows of background before I finally get to a new color and start her wings... 2400/117600... 2% done

Bottom of the Garden by Babs, page 3 finished

Page 3 is finally finished. In this page I had a part of the wing to stitch and again lots of backgrond. But it's worth it. The next page contains only background, but I hope to have it finished soon aswell.

The upper picture shows the 3 first pages finished, the bottom picture shows the wing when I was still stitching on page 3.

Terri's First HAED Finish

I did it I finished Oriental Courage. I am so happy that it is finished.Next one to work on will be my Elfland and the new SK Sal. Here is my finished work :)

Who Thought this Day Would Ever Come?

After countless new starts, numerous starts that have remained WIPs, and my inability to focus on any one piece, the day has finally come...I have my first HAED finish!

Yes, it's the smallest piece I was stitching on, but it is also the one I thought I would not finish because I simply wasn't enjoying it. But the closer I got, I knew I had to finish her.

So here she is:

SK Mermaid of the Deep (2010 HAED BB freebie SAL) 28ct Lavendar Lugana, 1x1 full crosses, Kreinik in tent

And yes, it took me over a month to post my finish! I was in the hospital for gall bladder surgery and had to return to work only four days later. I am so tired, but looking at all of your wonderful progress pics has kept me stitching, even if only 20 stitches a day.

First Rose

What a month. Nice weather, lots been outside, Sanne sick, and at last holidays. So now only an update of the First Rose. About time too. I think the hand is very beautiful looking. It shows that it is a high work. It is difficult to figure out what color the background you should not stitch. Of course I had when I bought it, do without any background. But I forgot. Since I have vacation now, and next week it is July 1st, there will still be a finger done, but that's all I think.
Sanne is recovering, just a pain setback yesterday. We just drive to the optician was. Her glasses were off balance. Still of the accident. And it hurt on her nose. Now she can see things right. Her embroidery is close at hand. I think that she have a couple of stitches to do.

Everybody has beautiful work. some are just stunning, the bee and the sunflower ! I love always the details of work. I know how much work the details are. Snow White and Gaudi, Gothic Rose, Dragon Fly and Good book, Dragon knot,Emerald Dragon, and many more !!!!  Good Job stitching Friends...

Unicorn Dream - Week 81, Dreams of Gaudí - Week 76

I'm making some slow progress with the Unicorn. This page won't be easy and quick to finish either.

Unlike Gaudí's present page, about 2-3 more weeks and I'm done with this one :)

Dragonfly and Curl Up With A Good Book Update

It has been ages since I have updated my progress on here but I have been paying visits and seeing all the wonderful work everybody is doing.

Here is my update for Curl Up With a Good Book, SAL. Page 3 is complete and I'm waiting for page 4 to be released. I'm definatley hooked as I've signed up for the SK SAL as well. Not had a chance to start that yet though (probably just as well!).

And this how Dragonfly looks now. Nearly finished page 10. It goest to show how good the HAED charting is, as with the camera on auto it kept recognising the face and wanting to take a protrait shot!

At last I have an update :-) Here is my page finish on Early Visit. I started her in March but got sidetracked by other new starts so I joined the swip SAL with her last week and got my page done! Stitched one over one, full crosses on 28ct wood lilac jobelan.

Dragon Knot Update

It has been quite a while since I've posted an update on Dragon Knot.  I finally have completed another page of it.  I only have 6 more pages to go!  3 of which are not even complete pages and if you put them together they wouldn't even make up a page so we'll say I really only have 3 1/2 more pages.

Terri's June 19th Update

I finished Page 2. I am so happy. Page 3 isn't very big about 3,000 stitches so I should have it finished either today or this week. I am so happy to have it almost done been working on this one for a while. It will be my first HAED finish :) Here it is

I love all your WIPs. Everyday I visit the blog and admire your works, all of them are wonderful.

This is my progress on Angelic, by Rachel Anderson. My next step will be to finish the arm, (I want to finish it this weekend), and to continue with the sky. The work at the sea foam war very solw because there is some confetti, but I like the result very much.

I switched to 28ct Lagana, 2 over 2 due to having eyesight problem. I am hoping this will keep me motivated to keep on stitching since I really loved the design. My husband made me a 48 inches scroll frame dowel to keep the extra fabric off of the floor.

Still in my blue period, but I don't really mind it, since I'm gonna be back with the Unicorn's colorful, confetti-heavy part pretty soon.

And you can finish off a page pretty fast with Gaudí's sky. I'm gonna complete this one really quickly too.

Dragon Rider for Kim

Once again, thank you to Susan for being kind enough to put up with me as her buddy (and if you saw the rambling emails she got off me you'd know how kind she was being).

Here's my latest update on Dragon Rider by Randal Spangler, which I'm absolutely loving, possibly because I'm all excited about having finished my first page of it. It doesn't really look like much at the moment because, as I think I've said before, I always do the boring bits first, so I'm currently doing a lot of background, although if you squint there is a little bit of dragon wing in the top right of this page so woo, dragon!

I worked out that it' taken me about 40 hours to do teh first page, so I'm trying not to think about how long it's going to take me to finish this, but it'll look incredible when it's done!

Absolutely in love with this piece at the moment, so it's going to be a focus piece for a while, although that may change in a few weeks/months time!

Really loving everyone's updates by the way, sorry for not commenting more, my computer and I aren't on the best of terms at the moment

Non Stitching Update! ~ MommaInStitches

I am so sorry I still do not have an update with Lavender Moon.  Have a question, has anyone stitched 2 over 1 on these HAEDs?  on 25 ct linen?  I am finding it very slow moving for me!  Just wondering if I should start over an stitch it 1 over 1.  Thanks guys and your progress on your HAEDs are beautiful!

Dragon Stocking Update - Kelly S

Unfortunately, I do have more done on my stocking, but had to put it back because the bulb blew in my daylight lamp and I've been unable to find another one that will work, which makes me think it's the lamp and not the bulb. I'll have to find another lamp before I can do anything else on the stocking. I've tried stitching without it and just can't see it well enough to make sure I hit the right holes. But, hopefully I will be able to find another lamp this weekend. The one I have is a floor lamp and I believe I would rather have a table lamp this time. It would be so much easier to move around.

And on top of that, my daughter has my camera with her on an FFA Camp trip and she'll have it with her next week when she goes to visit ABAC in Tifton, GA. So as soon as her "college" trips are over, I'll get another progress pic posted.
