QS Dragon Soul
QS Dragon Soul...almost finished ~ just need to put in the sparkle stitches !
This is the first HAED I bought and started but will be my 4th HAED finish this year !
I stopped starting new pieces and promised myself I would reward myself with some
new charts but only if I finished a few first. It has been hard to keep from buying or
starting new pieces but I am oh so happy I did.
best wishes

A Big Sigh of Relief
I got nervous that my fabric wasn't big enough for Touching the Hem
of God. Rather late to suddenly get worried about that, but I decided
to move across the entire design length. Thank goodness it fits and has
enough fabric for framing. Whew!
So here's my latest progress. This is stitched on 25 count. One thread over one. Full cross.

LIfe Force and Dragon Knot 2
Recently I
started a new HAED project, Life Force. This picture was taken
last weekend and I already have made significant more progress on it
since then! In fact, I am almost done with page 1, off the top of my
head I believe that there are over 30 pages in this pattern. 90
different colors. This time around I am putting grid lines on the
fabric. This is really helping me with the confetti stitching.
Typically I just wing it. But the grid lines are making it go so much
faster!
Here is what the final product will look like:
Here
is Dragon Knot 2 in all its glory! Finally back from the LNS all
framed and matted. I think it came out great. I currently have it
hanging in my bedroom till my friend comes to visit in October to claim
it in person!
It was a long road to getting this project finished and framed.

Three Worlds, zeven and a half page to go
It is very hot. So there's not a lot of Stitching. Yet, I have another one and a half page done. Seven and a half to go.
Sanne still four weeks until the due date. It goes so fast. It seems like a lot of fun to be grandma.
With those nasty tendonitis in my foot,'s that heat is not good. That one foot is swollen and the tendon is compromised. With the result that the foot is hard and you can walk badly. It's been nine months. Almost no motorcycle riding. What an annoyance. But a baby makes up for it.
Finished!!!!!
I finished this lovely Lynn Hanna haed Qs named Misty Morning, I took to it almost 2 months and I liked it.

HAED Couch Dragon progress
I started this in March 2012. Here is my progress on August 1, 2012. I did it on 14 count because that was all I had in a big piece and didn't want to wait until I could get a different count.

Total Progress So Far |
Sorry the photo's
aren't as good as usual but I took them last night and then packed Izzy
away so I'm not getting her back out just to re-take the photos. She's
looking good though, right? Can you see the cat hiding at the
bottom, you can see a bit of an eye so it looks like she's peeking at
you! I'm Facebook friends with Karen, the lady who originally commissioned
Hannah Lynn to paint Princess Izzy for her daughter Izzy and I've been talking to her about it. Apparently the cat is called Molly in real life and when I asked if the unicorn had a name Karen said no so I asked if Izzy would like to give the unicorn an official name and Izzy chose Bow so we have Izzy the Princess, Molly the Cat and Bow the unicorn! How cute is that?
I'm dying to start something new but I have to wait another 4 days until I can have a new HAED start! On the 11th of August Gizzimomo's Stitchy Place will be part of a Myka Jelina HAED SAL with The Manbroider! We will be stitching both Mini Lucia and Mini Melita but you can find more details on our blogs. I'm soooo excited!

Avarice page 9 completed
POSTED BY NICOLA BERRY
This page took seemingly no time at all. Using the parking method seems to help speed up my stitch rate.
I have thoroughly enjoyed stitching this page and seeing the dress bodice come through.
It will look better once I remove the grid lines.

Three Worlds, nine pages left to do.
It's hard to stay focused. The weather is nice. I want this off in December. I must do something every day. Nine pages to do. I calculated that 4000 stitches a week I should be enough. This is normally not a problem. But there is much to happen in the coming months.
