Heather by Demeter83
Another page of Heather has made an appearance. I do love working on her, and as she's tented she stitches up so quickly! She's gone away again for a while to work on other projects for a while, but I never manage to resist her for long.

My 2014 start
I thought I'd share my progress on my 2014 start. This is Tale of the Red Swans by Aimee Stewart and it will be an absolutely gorgeous finish. However, at this moment this is four partial pages of green shmush! However it's been lovely to work on!

A Mothers Kiss A Fathers Touch - HAED

25 Count White Lugana 1 x 1
DMC Threads
The circle that you see...that is stitched with Dark Blue Thread - it is not black thread. You can't hardly tell the difference between the two of them. This is still part of the Sky yet and it is stitched with black thread except for the circles. The First circle that you see which is completely finished...that is part of the sky and it is done in the browns...it is a star I think.
Thanks for looking....enjoy....
Happy Stitching

Amulet and Emmaline - Lesley Ivory - Update
It hasn't been that long since I posted an update so I'm hoping I remember how to do this. In between all kinds of crazy things (squirrels chewing holes so they can nest in my chimney and assorted other things) I have stayed warm by stitching on this afghan (Cat Afghan 18 ct Charles Craft Alphabet Afghan, though no alphabet) with either cat (or both cats) on my lap to help me stay warm. I actually did quite a bit on this one. Almost all of page 4 and page 5, which is just 3 columns wide. In terms of stitches its about a full page.
This is a closeup of what I was able to do so far:
This is the whole piece so far:
This is one of the most fun cross stitch designs I have ever done. Each square of the quilt is like its own little finish and it is hard to put it away, though other pieces and projects start to get very loud. Now I am off to work on "Burden" which is the Lord of the Rings design that I restarted a year ago. Trying to catch up to where I had been.
Thanks for looking.

Florence - Water dragon 12/42
Hello,
Here is a page more complete. The dragon's head is almost finished now. Many confetti for the dragon and also a lot of black above the head of the dragon part, it did me good to embroider a single color.
Stay tuned for the next update

Gothic and Midieval Shelf
It's been too long since I've been writing. That's not right. So I promise to do better.
I have worked a lot on Gothic. Five pages was added.
But then comes a new grandchild (in May), and I have put her aside.
Along with Sanne there is a new project sorted out for the new nursery. Midieval Shelf, from Spangler. I do not think I get it ready for the birth. But I will come far. 23 pages in 20 weeks is too much., Even for me

What Touching the Hem of God Looks Like on New Year's Day
Happy New Year everyone! May we all enjoy many hours of beautiful stitching in 2014!
I wonder if I'll make it to the design's figures by the end of the year? Work on the background continues...I suspect I must have stitched two pages by now, but that's just a guess. Still, I very much like how all the purples are blended.
Project is worked on 25 ct lugana, 1 over 1 full cross.
