...since I've posted, and I've missed you all! Life has gotten in the way. I had major abdominal surgery and all is well now. My son was bitten by a venomous snake which took 2 trips to the ER, 2 hospitalizations totaling 3 weeks, and finally a surgery to save his foot. He is still having many problems with it. And now we have a new puppy!
I really needed to get back to stitching! I have a new start, but that will have to wait. This week I joined the themed SAL (people) on the HAED BB so I pulled out QS Stella. Here she is at the start of the SAL.
With the holidays fast approaching, I hope you all find quiet moments to stitch!

Sabine !!!
What a great to see you back here, I have missed you !
I'm glad that you found the way back to stitching. For me, it always helped me to get better when life was difficult.
Your QS Stella looks fabulous ! The face has so beautiful colors... and the fabric that you chose is perfect for her !
But, please, don't torture me... tell me the name of your new start !!! I always love your designs choices... I'm so curious... The name of the artist would be a good clue...!!
Happy stitching Sabine, and welcome back !
Marie.
oups ! missing word in my comment... : "What a great PLEASURE"!!
Marie! So wonderful that you were the first to welcome me back!!!
OK, I'll give you some clues. It is fun to guess, isn't it?
It is a Faces of Faery by JBG. Not an artist or pattern I would normally choose, but this one is about my Mom. The original painting was auctioned on EBay with some of the proceeds going to a good cause. I bought the pattern last month and have finished page one, but I can't show you yet because with these clues it might give it away! Take a guess!!!!!
Have a great day Marie and I'll be waiting for your update.
