Finish!

Yeah! QS Waterlily kimono mermaid is finished! Though it was only a little piece to stitch, I enjoyed it very much, mainly because of the bright colours. She is the second HAED chart I finished, I hope to stitch so many more!

My wips at the moment are 'The wizard of Oz' by Scott Gustafson and "Impossible love" by Selena Fenech. And in my stash are waiting 'Earth angel' by Josephine Wall and 'The warmth of home' by Schim Schimmel. But I also want to stitch 'The astronomer', that awesome too! I have to live another life to stitch all I want to stitch, I'm afraid.

Last WIP photo

Hi everyone!

This will be my last WIP photo, because it's almost finished! Next week you will see the complete picture.

And then, according to my rotation schedule, I can stitch on The wizard of Oz! I'm really looking forward to it, I missed it!

QS Kimono Waterlily Mermaid

At last, a log from me again. Due to my rotation schedule, it was only in March that I could stitch a HAED again. In January I finished a work I promised my mother a long time ago and in Februari I stitched my afghan (Nature's Home), which is becoming beautiful, but isn't finished yet (of course). So, in March it's time for QS Kimono waterlily mermaid and I think she is a finish this month as well. It isn't a big work, only four pages and three of them are partial. It amazes me that a picture with so little stitches is still so beautiful!

Of course I read all your logs and I admired all your photo's. It's lovely to see that there are so many crazy stitchers around the world! Most people who see my work don't get it, why should you stitch?! You understand, that's great!

Three photos!

Three photos at once, I do stitch a lot, but I can hardly manage to blog, I'm really bad... I’m 34 weeks pregnant now and it feels like I’m tired all the time.
I almost finished the second page of Waterlily Mermaid, but I was short of two colours. I ordered them, but only this morning they arrived by mail, over three weeks after ordering! It's becoming beautiful, but to be honest, I think this work is a bit small with only four pages.
The wizard of Oz is fun to stitch. I have a part of Tinman now and the but of lion. It doesn't stitch quicky, but that doesn't matter.

And within a week I stitched the second page of Impossible love. Compared to The wizard of Oz this is quite simple, only little colour changes. I'm looking forward to something else than sky, but of course the clouds are beautiful as well. At the right of the picture I can stitch the wings of the angels. I love the colours, don't you?
I still enjoy reading this blog very much, it's nice to work on this kind of stitch work all together. In my own environment I don't know people who stitch as much as I do, most people admire it, but don't understand it. It's great to meet people who like it so much as well!

Waterlily

Hi! Last week I stitched on QS Kimono Waterlily. You can see what I've done so far. I started gridding her as well, because I noticed it worked great! I liked the colours very much, but for those who know what other pieces I stitched, they know how important colour is for me. I couldn't stitch a piece in black and whites, although I think it can be beautiful as well.

By for now and have a stitchy week!

QS Kimono Waterlilly Mermaid

Hi! This is another project I'm working on. It's QS Kimono Waterlilly Mermaid by Nadia Tate. It's only four pages, so it won't take me too long! I really like the Kreinik I have to use in this pattern, it's so beautiful! Unfortunately you can't see it on the photo, but trust me!
