Thank you and Quick update
First, I want to say "Thank You" to Wendy for the cute bear kit from the September Giveaway! It arrived last week, but I didn't get a chance to post. My kids were all on vacation from school last week - conferences and professional development days - so not a lot of stitching got done. I haven't stitched much this month, and this week I need to work on a Round Robin I need to get in the mail on Saturday. I've hardly touched it. Hopefully next week will be a better week for stitching. QS Reflections 2 is really begging for some attention and I have a couple new HAEDs that are kitted that have started to call me... What's one more WIP??

QS Reflections 2 Update
I've been terrible about stitching this past month. I seem to be flittering from one project to another. I do have an update on my QS Reflections 2. We now have the start of a wing!

QS Reflections 2
On the left is where I had stopped on QS Reflections 2 back in January. The picture on the right is where I am at now. I pulled it out and started working on it again last week (sorry the color is off). I'm temporarily distracted by a non-HAED piece I'm trying to stitch up before Labor Day and in the midst of completely shuffling everyone's bedrooms around in our house before school starts. I'm going to be trying to get a couple days a week in on one of my HAED pieces, so hopefully this will be further along next week.

Introducing Myself
Hello! My name is Jodie, and I have just joined all you amazing stitchers. I am very humbled looking at everyone's WIPs! I'm 42, a partially SAHM of three - 6 y/o boy and soon to be 5 y/o twins - boy/girl. I work casually at the hospital in two different departments - one as there are open shifts that work with my household schedule and one where I go in and work when I want to. We also have two dogs. I taught myself cross stitch when I was 12 - bought a little kit at the local craft store, read the directions and the rest is history. Right now I only have two HAEDs going, and I'm ashamed to say I haven't worked on either for a very long time. One is Jasmine Becket-Griffith's Wicked, Tricksy and False. As you can tell, I'm not very far, but this was my "watching the kids outside" project. I don't get much time to stitch on it because I'm usually pushing a swing :) The other is QS Reflections 2 by Dona Geislinger. I'm about half done with the first page. I have a number of HAEDs currently kitted up and waiting to start.
