Impossible love

Another update on Impossible love. I'm now stitching the mermin and that's really motivating. It's great to see something appear in the clouds.

Impossible love

Another update on 'Impossible love', but for me it's very easy to love this work of stitching ;-)
I stitched a lot of wing, but even that colours are beautiful and I enjoy stitching very much. I want to finish these two pages (I glued two pages together, because it worked easier) and then I may work on 'Train of dreams', which I started a few weeks ago. I'll show you a photo of my progress with that in a week or so.

Double update

Hi Everyone! A double update from me this time! I'm busy with Impossible love, which is the picture above this text. This photo was taken on Saturday, it's a bit further already. This one stitches really quickly and that's a nice change compared to The Wizard of Oz.

And here's the Wizard of Oz. It's becoming great, I think, I'm really proud! The persons are visible now, except for the lion, his head isn't stitched yet... That will take some more time.

This month I will work on Impossible love. But I've already bought two other charts, which I love as well: The warmth of home, and Train of Dreams, last one inspired by Astrid.

Three photos!

Three photos at once, I do stitch a lot, but I can hardly manage to blog, I'm really bad... I’m 34 weeks pregnant now and it feels like I’m tired all the time.
I almost finished the second page of Waterlily Mermaid, but I was short of two colours. I ordered them, but only this morning they arrived by mail, over three weeks after ordering! It's becoming beautiful, but to be honest, I think this work is a bit small with only four pages.

The wizard of Oz is fun to stitch. I have a part of Tinman now and the but of lion. It doesn't stitch quicky, but that doesn't matter.

And within a week I stitched the second page of Impossible love. Compared to The wizard of Oz this is quite simple, only little colour changes. I'm looking forward to something else than sky, but of course the clouds are beautiful as well. At the right of the picture I can stitch the wings of the angels. I love the colours, don't you?

I still enjoy reading this blog very much, it's nice to work on this kind of stitch work all together. In my own environment I don't know people who stitch as much as I do, most people admire it, but don't understand it. It's great to meet people who like it so much as well!

I'm in heaven!

Last week I stitched on 'Impossible love' all the time and I finished the first page! It's unbelievable how much quicker this pieces stitches compared to 'The wizard of Oz', but there are much more stitches of the same colour next to each other. In the lighter parts there's a lot of Kreinik, so there's a sparkle in it, but you can't see it in the photo. Imagine the stitching is much more beautiful in real life!

'The wizard of Oz' is doing fine, I almost finished the first top-bottum row (2,5 pages) en after that I will post a photo again. I think I must manage it this week.

Furthermore the holidays do almost begin. Yet one and a half week of school and then everything is finished. The lessons are already over for a few days, but it remains busy because a lot of other things have to be done. I'm looking forward to the holidays, at least I won't be that exhausted in the evening that I almost fall asleep while stitching...

It's me and the wizard again!

It has taken a long time before you heard from me again, but it had several causes. I was really tired, due to my pregnancy (which is going really well!!) and the final examinations stress (for a teacher this is mainly review the work of my own students and then a second review for the work of a colleague). Furthermore I couldn't use my camera, because the battery was empty and I coudn't find the recharger. But taking no photographs and not blogging leaves more time for stitching, so I will show you the results!

Ooops, indeed. I started another HAED again, this one is really beautiful. But they all are... This is Impossible love by Selena Fenech. I like to stitch on this piece because it's about the opposite of The wizard of Oz. That are a lot of confettistitches and here there are more stitches of the same colour. The combination is fun, but my main focus pieces remains the Wizard of Oz.

And here I present my Wizard of Oz. Not a wizard in sight yet, of course, but still it becomes really beautiful. I'm a few rows further already, this photo is taken on 31st May, but it has taken me some time to place it.It speaks for itself, I guess.

I enjoy stiching so very much and reading and stitching along with this blog only makes it better. I enjoy your company very much!
