Call of the Raven

I have another finished page!
To give you an idea about the amount of stitches:
Chart is 450 x 600 = 270.000
Done: 450 x 470 = 211.500 stitches
That is 87,3 %

If I want to have it done within two years it means I have to add 2437 stitches each month. Until now I add about 1000 stitches a month. Going on like this means it won't be a finish until the year 2017 (!)

After being busy with other crafty things, I returned to Call of the Raven. Two more pages finished.

It's been a long time, but I have been stitching. There's almost a page finished again, I hope to have that done by the end of this weekend.

Most of my spare time this week I have been stitching on Call of the Raven. I'm in a Dutch group and we committed to do a thousand stitches each month. Last month I didn't make it, so I have to do two thousand cross stitches this month...

Oh my, reading this last post I feel quilty! I haven't been posting for a while, but I hope I can make this up to you by posting some new pictures of Call of the Raven and Vibrant Vista.

It took a long time, but I finally finished a row again. Here is Call of the Raven as it is now, for the next month I will stitch on Vibrant Vista, has been too long since I did that!

Long time since I posted, but I've seen such wonderful projects growing with every stitch! Mine is growing too, this last month my focus was on Call of the Raven. I keep stitching over several pages, following the color I'm stitching on.

Call of the Raven update

Last week DH and I went to Germany, a short week's holiday. And Call of the Raven went with me ... time to show progress. I thought it would be nice to show a year's progress. so the first picture is the one of October 2009 , the last is October 2010. Considering I have two other HAEDs on the roll, it's not that bad, I think.

It's been quite a while, so I have an update to show. I'm reaching the hair of the lady of Foregone. So stitching on it is becoming more and more fun. Call of the Raven is still growing on a monthly basis. And Astrid, do you see the difference? I'm rolling my work now instead of folding ;)

It's quite some time ago that I posted an update on my work. I have been busy stitching on Foregone. It is a beautiful design, but until now rather boring! I am stitching brown, brown, dark brown, even darker brown and black. And I love bright colours LOL So how do I survive this? Yes, like all other stitchers do. Just follow my needle and from time to time stitch something else, like Call of the Raven. As you can see I don't like ironing LOL

It's time for an update from me too. I have been stitching mostly on Call of the Raven. I have been neglecting her for too long, so I think I will concentrate on her next months. Vibrant Vista will have to wait until next autumn, because its time for my 'summer stitching' again. That means Mary Wigham and Cirque des Carreaux, an Ink Circles design.
Anyway, here's my update:

Last week DH and I went for a few days trip to Germany. We had a perfect time together, you can see pictures on my blog.
I had some extra stitching time and decided to take Call of the Raven with me. Here's a picture of January 31st.

Hi my friends, here I am again, showing my progress on Call of the Raven. I have been stichting on it most of last week and also on the SAL last Thursday.
I think it will take another two or three days stitching to finish the page I am doing, after that I will turn to Vibrant Vista again.

Vibrant Vista and Call of the Raven

Refering to the title of this post, it is the other way around. Call of the Raven has been my main stitching these past weeks. I want to finish the stitching to the left border, so she gets a little bit more attention.
