A Bit of Stitching
Hello!
I have been looking at everyones' stitching and it is all beautiful.
I have done a bit more stitching on my HAED. However, I set aside my HAED to crochet and knit little hats and booties because my brother and his wife are expecting twins!! I am so excited! My nephew and niece are due in January 2010.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!
Take care and happy stitching....Nita

A Tiny Bit of Stitching
I managed a little bit of stitching today - about 50 stitches, not much, LOL. The last two weeks have been busy for me. I have been looking at all the beautiful HAEDs; you all are doing wonderful stitching. I really enjoy coming to this blog and seeing how everyone is progressing. I hope you all have a lovely, stitchy week!

My SAL Update
I have made a little bit of stitching progress on my HAED. It is more of the blue sky. I was going to take a picture, but really there is not much to see, LOL. I love looking at everyone's WIP's; they are beautiful. Have a wonderful, restful stitchy weekend!

My Update
I have not stitched on my HAED (Beneath the Brooklyn Bridge) this week due to the tendonitis in my right arm, which flares up from time to time. Also my hands are hurting due to the fact that I had to archive a year worth of files at the temporary assignment I am currently on. So I must take this small break from stitching and knitting :( I plan to pick up my needles this weekend since I have rested my hands and arm this week.
You all are doing wonderful stitching and making great progress. I love looking at everyones' HAEDs; you all keep me motivated!!
Have a great weekend!!!

My HAED SAL Update
I did get in some stitching last week on my HAED SAL. This is what it looked like before:
And as of today, it looks like this:
I am not sure about the triangle of color at the top of the sky. The chart indicates the darker blue color, but it looks out of place to me, LOL. I guess once it is all stitched, it all comes together.

A Bit of Progress
I stitched a bit more on my HAED......a bit of progress this week. I am on the first page and it is all sky. I have stitched approximately 700 stitches. Although you can't tell from the photo, the fabric is a very very pale blue.
I love looking at all the beautiful progress pictures. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend!

Finally Started!!
Last week I was ill for most of the week and did not get to start "Beneath The Brooklyn Bridge" Today, however, I started stitching the sky. I am stitching it on 18 count Aida in a very pale blue color with two strands of floss. I practiced a bit on 25 count Lugana, one over one, but decided for the sake of my eyes and sanity to stitch on the 18 count Aida.
There really is not much to see, so I will hold off posting a picture. I am really inspired and motivated by all the wonderful stitching and love looking at all of your lovely progress!

My First HAED
I purchased "Beneath The Brooklyn Bridge" as my first HAED to stitch. I am excited about this new journey since this is my first time stitching a large design and stitching over one. As I was browsing through the HAED designs, I would show hubby the ones I really liked. When hubby saw this design, he and I decided this was "the one to stitch"!
