This is how I have done over the SAL weekend (QS/TT). I am pleased with my progress - alot more than I anticipated even with going out places with the family.

Also chuffed with the fact that I have finally worked out how to add my name and details onto the photos!! Sad I know ;o)

TT Violet Sometimes - Before

This is my TT Violet Sometimes as of Thursday evening before the SAL weekend. I am so pleased with how she is progressing and hopefully by the end of the SAL I will more of her stitched.

Its funny how she is not a bright and colourful little lady but she has really grabbed me and I am loving stitching on her.

I will upload again Tuesday if time allows with an after photo.

TT Violet Sometimes

This is my latest piccie of TT Violet Sometimes (as of 3rd May 2009). I am really pleased with my progress of this chart which is currently approximately 1200 stitches.

She is currently my focus piece and I just pull her out when I have a spare 20 minutes or so and I get excited even if I have just stitched 10 stitches - I am so pleased with how she is developing.

I am loving seeing everyone's own personal progresses with charts and see how some of the designs are appearing before our eyes - keep up the good work folks and keep sharing piccies!

TT Violet Sometimes 19/4/09

This is my TT Violet Sometimes. I have done approximately 600 stitches so far.

This design has grabbed me with both hands is not letting go!! I love it! Even though the colours at the moment are quite dark I am find it interesting and looking forward to seeing the picture come to life.

2 Confessions in 1 entry

Confession No.1 : I have been stitching on QS Black Cherry for the SAL on the HAED board. I haven't got loads done but I am finding it a real bind to pick her up and stitch on her. I am not quite sure why really - I love the colours, but its just not grabbed me to the stage where I NEED to stitch on her.

So I have decided to put her away and bring her out only for the SAL weekends on the HAED board. Then at least she will get some stitching done on her - just at a slower progress.

BUT - now here is where Confession No.2 comes: I made a new start yesterday.......... yes I know thats 2 new starts in a space of about a week......

And this time I have started TT Violet Sometimes. Love the colours of this so much and its by JBG who is my fav designer. Last night I made a good start by stitching just short of 400 stitches. I will get a pciture uploaded soon.
