Sally's Update

I am so sorry that I haven't posted for a couple of weeks. Things just seem to have got away with me and what with a hospital appointment last week and my eldest DD's 18th birthday the time went nowhere!

However I've made some lovely progress on one of my HAED pieces but not much on the other one. First up it's the one I usually show which is TT Purple Dragon. I've only stitched on her one evening over the last couple of weeks.

The reason for that is this one took over and it really called to me to be stitched on more! The lovely Guardian:)

TT Purple Dragon

I'm a little late posting my progress from last week and will be starting on this week this evening! I'm now onto page 2 and as it's not a full page it shouldn't take too long:)

Everyone's progress is looking fantastic!

TT Purple Dragon

Here's my progress on TT Purple Dragon. This was nearly a disaster as I subbed the metallic onb her face for DMC 3865 and it was way too light and looked awful. I started to unpick it but caught the fabric and pulled it. I was so upset as I didn't want to ruin it and have to restart. Anyway I think I've saved it but instead of unpicking I've had to stitch over the 3865 so it's a little bulky but I think it'll be OK.

TT Purple Dragon

Her's my progress on TT Purple Dragon. I just love this piece so much and to be honest I really don't want to put it down. Only problem is I wouldn't get anything else stitched!

Thank you Cindy and Wendy for this fantastic blog and to all the ladies who post their wonderful WIPs. You are all an inspiration:)

Sally's Progress

Here's my progress on TT Purple Dragon this week. So close to her lovely green eyes now!

Also thought I'd show you this. This is Guardian. I started it a looooooooong time ago and it's been a UFO for ages but I decided I needed to get it out again and work on it regularly. I was about half way down page 2 and now pagge 2 is almost finished.

Loving eveyones pictures. They really keep me motivated.

TT Purple Dragon

I started TT Purple Dragon- artwork by Jasmine Becket- Griffith- on Wednesday and stitched on her again last night so here she is as off then. I love the colours in this one as they are so pretty.

I sent Michele piccies of my QS Girly Gothic finished and I chose CC Kuik's QS Season of Missing You as my free chart in the HAED Reward Program.

I bought a new chart in the sale today. It won't get sttiched yet but it's Cico Marchetti's Spirit of Winter. It's gorgeous but it will take some stitching!
