Here my lastest update on Hannah Lynn's Princess Izzy now page 17 is done!

The majority of Princess Izzy herself is now in and you can see Molly the cat has appeared! I've fallen back in love with her and am going to stick with her a little longer so I'll be back with another update soon!

Hi Everyone,

I've got lots to report since my last post as I have finished Page 9 (out of 36) of Princess Izzy by Hannah Lynn AND Page 4 (out of 8) of Mini Lucia by Myka Jelina!

First up is Princess Izzy.....

Hi Everyone,

I have some progress for you on my Princess Izzy by Hannah Lynn. I've now finished 8 pages and she's (literally) sitting very pretty!

Princess Izzy - After 8 Pages

I'm going to keep with her and do Page 9 to finish this block off. There's still an awful long way to go but I now have her on my brand new Millennium frame so hopefully the better tension will allow even better and quicker stitching.

Sorry I've been missing of late but I'm back and here is where I am with Princess Izzy now that page 7 is finished!

Total Progress So Far

Sorry the photo's aren't as good as usual but I took them last night and then packed Izzy away so I'm not getting her back out just to re-take the photos. She's looking good though, right? Can you see the cat hiding at the bottom, you can see a bit of an eye so it looks like she's peeking at you! I'm Facebook friends with Karen, the lady who originally commissioned Hannah Lynn to paint Princess Izzy for her daughter Izzy and I've been talking to her about it. Apparently the cat is called Molly in real life and when I asked if the unicorn had a name Karen said no so I asked if Izzy would like to give the unicorn an official name and Izzy chose Bow so we have Izzy the Princess, Molly the Cat and Bow the unicorn! How cute is that?

I'm dying to start something new but I have to wait another 4 days until I can have a new HAED start! On the 11th of August Gizzimomo's Stitchy Place will be part of a Myka Jelina HAED SAL with The Manbroider! We will be stitching both Mini Lucia and Mini Melita but you can find more details on our blogs. I'm soooo excited!

Even though I'm virtually melting in this heatwave the UK's going through at the moment I finally managed to get my page done on Izzy. I must say that I thought it would never be done as I had several days of not doing a stitch at all but YAAAYY I did it!

She's looking sooooo good although I was a bit worried about the orange stripes and spots on the edge of her dress but from a distance it looks perfectly fine and overall she just looks simply beautiful! So now I'm going to go down a page and work back across the bottom so I'll have done a 9 page square.

Hey Everyone,

First up is my Princess Izzy update! I have completed Page 4 but now Izzy is going away for a spell while I work on some of my other projects. Don't worry as she will be back in a few months I'm sure!

 Next up is my SK Phuan update. I have FINALLY finished Page 3 and have made the decision to finish Phuan at that point instead of stitching the final half a page. I struggled so badly with the last page as it really bored the hell out of me and as the final page is more of the same and I just can't bring myself to stitch it.... besides I actually prefer the look of the finished piece be finishing it here as his leg looks at little bit odd at the bottom on the cover photo so I'm glad to finish it here.

Hiya

Sorry, I haven't been about much later but all the different places to post was getting on top of me as it takes so long to post to them all every time I had an update so I had to cut right back so unfortunately there will only be random updates here and on Facebook and the BB itself will be for SAL pieces and possibly projects already on there but Izzy for example won't be, meaning that the best place for my updates is the blog as that WILL always be up to date.

Anyway here's what I'm working on at the moment and it's Princess Izzy by Hannah Lynn. I started her on the 21st January 2012 and am stitching her on 25 count white evenweave, 1 over 1. So here's my page two finish on her!

Her hair was a total nightmare with all the black outlining covering up my grid lines making it awkward but the result is stunning and I love her! What do you think??
