New update!

Hi everyone! I've been stitching non stop on Queen of Hearts over Easter and I managed to get part of her wing finished. I'm so close to finishing the 2nd row of pages, so I have to carry on stitching her don't I! I was going to switch projects for a bit but I just can't bear to put her away!

Gotta go and carry on stitching :)

Back stitching Queenie :)

Here she is :) Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments previously. I wsih I had more time to post everyone a comment myself, but I just want to say how great everyone's WIPs are, I really enjoy reading about everyone's progress :)
I now have 13.5 pages complete, only 67.5 large format pages to go, I must be crazy!

Sunset by Rachel Anderson

Hi everyone :)

I've been stitching on Sunset all weekend (thought I would take a break from my Queen of Hearts for a while). I started stitching Sunset's background a while ago and it was getting so boring so thought I would travel to her face.

My Queen of Hearts

Hi everyone! I just wanted to show you all my progress as of today. I'm more or less finished with her hair and she is looking so pretty. I've been stitching non stop today and feel like I've stitched so many little crosses, I just had to show you all :)

New Queen of Hearts update

Hi everyone! I've been lovin reading all your posts and looking at all your pics, you all have some really fabulous stitching going on :)
Thought I would update you all with a pic myself. I've been working on her shoulders all last week, they were so time consuming what with all the detail stitches and the constant colour changes, but the effect is so worth it. There must be 30 colours in her skintone alone!
I'm really finding my groove with Queen of Hearts now, she was tiresome to stitch for a while what with the background, but I'm lovin stitching the detail, wish I didn't have to do so much b'ground, but the reds look really lush, so it is worth it in the end ;)
I shall be working on pasrt of her wings next, wish me luck!

Rachel's Introduction

Thankyou so much Cindy and Wendy for inviting me to join!

I'm Rachel (rachelsparkles to everyone here), and I have been married for 2 years, no children yet but do have a kitty and a hamster :) I live in the North East of England, UK and would love to move somewhere hot and sunny in the future!

I absolutely love HAED and it was the Rachel Anderson charts that really drew me in. I am currently stitching Queen of Hearts and I also have Sunset started (pics to follow). I also love Jasmine Becket Griffith and have Pale Rose started and always checking the HAED website to see if anymore of her art has been charted. I also love Ching Chou Kuik and plan to start a full size piece of hers very very soon.

I'm really excited about sharing my stitching with everyone and hope to show you lots of pics in the near future.

Hugs,

Rachel x
