Hello Everybody! My name is Anita (everyone calls me Nita) and I live in southern California with by dear hubby of nearly 29 years. We have two sons, Brian and Tim; they both live on their own here in California. I love to stitch, knit and crochet. This is my first time stitching a HAED design. I stitch mainly on 28 count evenweaves; this will be my first time stitching over one.
Just to confirm - If the HAED design I am stitching is 450W x 362H and I am stitching over one, I come up with a fabric size of 24" x 20" (three extra inches of fabric on each side) using the cross stitch calculator.
Thank you for having me in the group and I look forward to stitching along with you all and seeing all of the wonderful stitchy posts.

Welcome Anita!
What count of fabric will you be using? That will help to be able to determine if your piece is big enough or not. :)
Hi Becca,
Thank you for your welcome:) I forgot to add to my post that I used 25 count on the cross stitch calculator for calculating the size of the fabric needed.
Welcome Nita!! We're so happy to have you join us:) I'm horrible at the calculations, so I'm hoping Becca and the others will help you!
Can't wait to see your new start:)
Welcome Nita, I look forward to see you start!
Welcome Nita. If you are using 25 ct and are doing it over 1 thread then the size with your 5 inch pargin would be 24 x 20.5 inches by my calculations... you will be fine!
Which chart are you starting? curious minds need to know - grin.
Welcome, Nita! I'm starting my first HAED too - hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine..so glad to have you here!
Welcome Anita to our blog!! Can't wait to see your HAED. I'm stitching my first HAED too and it is getting addicted :)
