Queen's Croquet Ground by Gustafson

Hello everyone!  It's been a really long time since I've posted but I've had a lot going on.  We moved to Japan from Germany in September and then in March, my husband was sent on a six-month deployment.  We're halfway through that and I've been doing a little stitching.  This is the first two and one partial row of Queen's Croquet Ground by Scott Gustafson.  I'm stitching it 1x1 on 25 ct. Lugana.  Hope to get more done soon and be able to post more.

Footprints Update

Just a quick update on "Footprints" by Sandra Kuck, which I started on April 1 of this year.  I have almost completed two pages now and I love the way it is coming together.  You can see the beginnings of the sandcastles on the lower left.

I wasn't sure about using the Krenick Braid, but I think I am going to like it after all.  It just gives the clouds a nice "glow".

Happy Stitching, all.

Unicorn Dream - Week 124, Dreams of Gaudí - Week 119

Starting the new pages with my favorite colors. What else could it be than the different shades of blue? :))

ThreeWorlds, mc Escher

The carp is almost completely in the picture. Now the last row on the side up. Then the full width reached. A page a week, I could just not. so many other things. The garden needs attention. Last week we were two days doing odd jobs, with Ivan and Sanne home. Wallpapering and a new floor. It is very nice. Now the furniture, and then a new little person can sleep in it. Just 13 weeks to go. It goes so fast.
The white dots in the picture is the sun that peaks through the curtains

Avarice Page 7 complete

POSTED BY NICOLA BERRY

I am stitching Dahlig's Avarice one over one on 25ct lugana fabric. I have been working this now on and off for almost a year.

This weekend I completed page 7.

I am looking forward very much to page 8 as it is not confetti heavy like 7 was, although page 9 sees some more as the dress detail starts to come in.

Pictures are of the page 7 detail and the overview of the whole thing.

Another page done on Dragon Knot

I have been working on this project off and on for over 5 years now. This year I finally made it a priority to finish it!! Last night I finished another page! Now I only have left 1 full page and a 1/4 page! Cannot wait to see it finished!!

first page (finally) finished!!!

Hey everybody!  I'm back.  Although I don't think many will remember me.  I'm Amanda.  My mom's been blogging and now that school's out I have more time to relax and stitch!  I can't wait!  I've been working on lots of stitching projects for my teachers so I've done a lot of stitching.  But only stamp cross stitching.  So I'm glad to get back to pre-holed (or whatever you call it :) fabric.  Took me one year but I finally got one done.  But that's because I was lazy.  : # )  Sorry I ramble a lot.    But this is Pearl Princess by Hannah Disney and I LOVE the color.   It's on 18 ct. lilac,  2 over 1, page 1.   I think I love this piece because I love neon and lots of bright and fun colors!  See ya, (hopefully soon).

                                                                       Happy stitching,

Hi all !! just wanted to share with all you out there my progress so far...thought I would post some updates as I haven't been posting a lot recently

Hope I will inspire someone to stitch this beauty ...she's a tough one as the colours are so similar and you can easily get confused, anyway I'm stitching her on 28 count white evenweave using 3 on 1 tent stitch.

So far I'm loving it !

Dragon Knot

Yay!! Another page completed. Only 1 complete page and 2 partial pages to go!! Can't wait to finish this!!

Update on Sanctuary of Knowledge by Randall Spangler

Finished page 2--This is stitched on 22 Count Green Oslo Hardanger fabric 2 over 1.  I enjoy stitching on it but it's definitely my slowest project to (probably because of the dark colors)  I'm seeing some great finishes on the blog.  Happy Stitching!

Angelic, Faces of Faery 75, The Last Leaves and Queen of Hearts

I show you my little avances on my charts:

FACES OF FAERY 75: I was stitching 2 over 1 on lugana 25, but I didn't like the result, so I undid it and restart 1 over 1. Now I like it much more. Furthermore, stitching is much more easy now.

QUEEN OF HEARTS: I haven't worked on this chart from long several months, so the avance is very small... but I've promise myself I'll be more regular. (Lugana 25, 1 over 1).

THE LAST LEAVES: On the last month it has been my favourite job. At the moment, most os it is white sitiching, but I'm wishing to stitch the green colour in contrast. (Lugana 25, 1 over 1)

ANGELIC: I have stitched the face. I love the result, I think it's beautiful. My next step will be hair and the hands. (Aida 2 over 1).

Happy stitching!

It's been a long time, but I have been stitching. There's almost a page finished again, I hope to have that done by the end of this weekend.
